Cereal always used to my go-to snack choice. But then, I realized how much better granola tasted mixed in with a cold glass of my favorite plant based milk. Not only would I enjoy granola as cereal, but eat as a snack, top my favorite plant based yogurt or as a mix in my overnight oats!

I used to buy a lot of store-bought granola. Just like everything else in the grocery store, prices went up significantly. Some granolas are now close to $10!!! No way. I decided I am going to make my own granola. And you guys!!!!! It is SO easy and delicious! I will never go back to store-bought granola again!
All you have to do is decide which flavors you are craving, put it all together, bake and BAM, you got yourself some damn good homemade granola.

For all us athletes out there trying to increase our caloric intake to meet the demands our training, granola is an excellent way to boost calorie (and carbohydrate) intake! Granola and yogurt- there ya go, you got yourself an excellent protein- carbohydrate rich post-workout snack. ​
